ERASMUS - Incoming
Students from ERASMUS partner universities may spend one or two semesters at the University of Vienna within the ERASMUS Programme. Chances of participating in the programme depend on whether there is a bilateral agreement with the partner university in the relevant field of study and whether the student is nominated for an ERASMUS stay by the partner university.
For an ERASMUS stay at the University of Vienna, the following steps must be taken:
- Nomination by your home university.
- Once nominated, you will receive an e-mail from the Student Mobility Office (Büro für Studierendenmobilität) containing information on further steps that you must take.
- Complete the online "pre-registration (Erstanmeldung online)" to be able to prepare your enrolment. For this please use our
"guide for the online pre-registration".
- Send the filled-in form of the ERASMUS Certificate to the Student Mobility Office (Büro für Studierendenmobilität).
After you have been nominated by your home university, the Student Mobility Office (Büro für Studierendenmobilität) will send you further information (on language courses, accommodation, etc.) per e-mail. You can also find information in the Welcome Guide and under FAQs.
