There are two different types for housing: rooms in halls of residence or private accomodation.

1) Halls of residence
Please choose one of the two possibilities to rent a room in a hall of residence.

a) For the reservation of a room in a student hall of residence from the Austrian Exchange Service (ÖAD), please fill in the online registration at http://www.housing.oead.ac.at as soon as possible! You must also transfer a reservation deposit to the bank account of ÖAD. Without the bank transfer NO reservation will be made!
Please mind the deadlines: 15 June (winter semester) / 01 November (summer semester)!
Besides the monthly rent (max. 335 Euro per month for a single room) an arrangement fee will be charged by ÖAD.

b) You can also organise accomodation in a hall of residence by yourself. If you choose this option, please contact the manager of the hall of residence in time. You need NOT fill in the form from ÖAD in this case. A list with all halls of residence in Vienna can be found under the link „Cycamp: Halls of residence“.

2) Private accomodation
There are some usefull databases to find private accomodation. At the right side you find links to „Studenten Wohnenbörse“, „ÖH Wohnenbörse“ and "Casaswap“ (International Accommodation Network).
