This workshop focuses on the following topics:
- Review of data types and language essentials (data types, manipulating objects, looping and conditional execution)
- Inferential statistics: t-Test, analysis of variance, linear regression models, testing model assumptions
- Nonparametric techniques (Tests for independence in contingency tables, ANOVA on ranks)
- Advanced graphics (splitting the output window, adding a legend and annotation for publication-ready graphics)
- Generalized linear models, factor analysis and/or cluster analysis
- Simulation using R
